Sky Express Reveals 5 New Destinations with Spectacular Drone Show

On June 25th, the night sky above the Olympic Stadium (OAKA) in Athens transformed into a live canvas of light and motion. DRNS proudly orchestrated a breathtaking drone show for Sky Express, marking the announcement of five new international destinations in a truly unforgettable way.

Using 150 synchronized drones, we created a sky-bound spectacle that combined storytelling, innovation, and emotion. Instead of a traditional press release or media campaign, Sky Express chose a bold and modern approach to marketing— writing their message in the sky.

The event offered a modern and bold approach to communication, using the sky itself as the medium. The audience watched as drones painted vivid animations, turning the sky into a live story of Sky Express’ growth and ambition.

Highlights of the show included the display of the five new European destinations — Madrid, Berlin, Lisbon, Hamburg, and Lyon — bringing Sky Express’ international network to a total of 26 destinations. A map of Europe appeared in the sky, with each country lighting up one by one. The show also featured a detailed Sky Express airplane design, a full list of all 33 destinations the airline now serves, an eye-catching control tower animation, the emblem of the Greek Civil Aviation Authority, and of course, the Sky Express logo as the grand finale.
