Painting the Sky in Pink: Celebrating 80 Years of ELLE

On Sunday, September 15, we had the honor of creating a truly magical night at Sea Satin Athens for ELLE’s 80th anniversary celebration. For this milestone event, we designed a drone show like no other — a dreamscape of pink lights filling the Athenian sky.

With 150 drones glowing in soft shades of pink, the performance began with a powerful introduction: the illuminated ELLE logo, followed by the words “Celebrates 80 Years”. Then, in sequence, the iconic pillars of the brand appeared one by one — “Fashion”, “Beauty”, and “Lifestyle” — setting the tone for the journey ahead.

Next came the animations that brought ELLE’s spirit to life. A flowing dress in motion, animated with elegance, symbolized timeless fashion. Right after, a playful lipstick animation lit up the sky, celebrating beauty with a touch of flair. A serene yoga pose silhouette followed, embodying wellness and balance as part of ELLE’s lifestyle identity.

From there, the story connected ELLE’s Parisian heritage to the Athens celebration: the iconic Eiffel Tower rose in shimmering light, accompanied by the phrase “From Paris to Athens.” The show reached its grand finale with a dazzling birthday cake, complete with the number 80 glowing like a candle, bringing the celebration to its peak.

Guests watched in wonder as the sky transformed into a stage of elegance, creativity, and joy. The pink glow of the drones bathed the southern coast of Athens, making this anniversary not just a celebration, but a memory to be cherished.
